Maprik United ready to face the best at NGI Super 9s

They will leave for East New Britain today where the 9s tournament will staged.Coach of Maprik United and former Agmark Gurias player, Bradley Simon said his team has been hard at training and are looking forward to the challenge.“The boys had a training session at Divine Word University on Wednesday afternoon and the boys are ready to go against the best.“We will have the weekend off after a week of travelling and we’ll be back in training on Monday leading up to the tournament weekend.“My boys are very relaxed. Most are young and the main thing is to be calm and just expose the raw talents that has been hidden for years,” said Simon.The NGI Super 9s will run from January 20-22 at Kalabond Oval.  Twenty teams will take part in the tournament.last_img
