Its the 30th anniversary since Joy Division singer Ian Curtis committed suicide on May 18, 1980.TO coincide with Peter Hook’s Limerick show which is now sold out, the hugely influential Joy Division will be the focus of a two-day symposium at University of Limerick on November 25 and 26.The free event is organised by the Popular Music and Popular Culture Research Cluster at the University.
